How a ride works

Four steps, no haggling at the kerb

The same flow whether you are booking a bike for one stop or an SUV for six people and their luggage.

  1. 1

    Say where you're going

Pick up, drop off, ride type. The fare is quoted and locked before you confirm, and your driver sees the same figure.

  2. 2

    We fan out, nearest first

The driver closest to you is offered the trip. No answer in a few seconds and the search widens a kilometre at a time until someone takes it.

  3. 3

    Ride starts on your OTP

Your driver can only begin the trip with the four digits on your screen, and the route is shared live with whoever you choose.

  4. 4

    Pay the way you want

UPI, card, wallet or cash. The receipt lands in the app with the fare broken down line by line.

Pricing

What you pay for, and what you don't

No meter to argue with and no surprise at the end of the ride — here is exactly what goes into the number the app shows you.

Base fare
A fixed starting amount, set per ride type.
Distance
Charged per kilometre for the route you asked for.
Time
Charged per minute, so a slow crawl is not free for the driver.

The widths above are illustrative. What each part comes to depends on the ride type and the trip — which is why we quote you one number for the actual journey instead of asking you to work it out.

  • Quoted before you confirm

You see the whole fare — GST included — on the booking screen, and your driver sees the same number. It does not change unless you change the trip.

  • Late nights and busy hours cost more

Fewer drivers are out at 2 am, and the ones who are out get paid more for it. Any such increase is already inside the quote, and our pricing system enforces a ceiling on it.

  • Short trips and waiting

Very short trips are charged a minimum fare. Waiting is free for the first few minutes after your driver arrives, then charged by the minute.

  • Nothing added afterwards

No booking fee. Tolls and parking, where the route has them, are added at cost and itemised on the receipt with everything else.

Safety

Built for the 11 pm ride home

Not a badge on a page — four things that are true of every trip on the platform.

  • The trip starts on your OTP

Four digits on your screen. Until the driver enters them, the ride cannot begin — so the car at the kerb is the car you booked.

  • Someone else can watch the route

Share a live trip link with anyone. They see the vehicle moving, the driver's name and the number plate until you arrive.

  • Every driver is checked before day one

Licence, registration certificate, insurance, permit and a police verification — all on file, all re-checked when they expire.

  • A person picks up the phone

Ride support runs 24×7 from Chennai. In an emergency the app's help button puts you through immediately.

Own a bike, an auto or a car? Put it to work.

Take the trips you want, see where you are going before you accept, and get your earnings settled to your bank without chasing anyone.
